Priscilla was a respected church leader and courageous woman of faith. She was most likely a woman of aristocratic Roman origin and played an influential role in the early Church. Priscilla and her husband Aquila were dear friends, fellow tentmakers, and ministers with Paul the apostle.

A teacher of the gospel and a leader in the first century Church, Priscilla is thought by some scholars to be the author of the anonymously written book of Hebrews.
