Loss | A Mixed Media Series on Grief
I created this 12-part series during a month-long artist residency in September 2023. Each piece reflects a different facet of my experience—as a child, a parent, and in my evolving relationship with my own mother. The series is an exploration of my grief after losing her to Alzheimer’s disease. She had a profound influence on my creative journey and on every aspect of my life. I worked on vintage book pages using mixed media, including gesso, ink, pencil, paper collage, and fabric. The series features a limited color palette inspired by my mom’s favorite colors and patterns, weaving memory and emotion into each piece.

Circle Up | A Watercolor and Ink Series
This series of original watercolor and ink paintings invites viewers to pause and meditate on the world as it could be—and as I hope it will be. Each circle becomes a lens of possibility, offering a vision shaped by resurrection, redemption, and love. Through color, pattern, and movement, these works encourage reflection on nature, home, and our shared surroundings, seen through a hopeful and grace-filled perspective. In the midst of a broken world, they point toward beauty, belonging, and togetherness—gifts made whole through God’s presence.

Arizona Love | A Watercolor and Ink Series
Arizona Love is a series of watercolor and ink works inspired by moments and landscapes encountered during a recent journey through Arizona. Rendered in bold color, rhythmic pattern, and expressive line, each piece translates the vast desert terrain, shifting light, and quiet wonder of the Southwest into a more imaginative, emotional language. Together, the works celebrate place, memory, and movement—capturing not just what was seen, but what was felt.
